Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I am going to Aulani in July 2013 with my two daughters. We have family who live in Ewa Beach which is very near the hotel. Would they be able to visit us at the hotel and use the pools?

  • Aloha Deborah!  Thanks for your question about Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.  Your vacation is approaching quickly and you must be getting very excited!  I know you and your daughters will absolutely fall in love with this magical Disney resort.  How wonderful that you will have a chance to visit with your family while staying at Aulani.  They are most welcome to visit with you at the resort, but unfortunately they will not be able to join you in the Waikolohe Valley pool area, as that is reserved strictly for guests staying at Aulani. Wrist bands are required to access the area, and new ones are issued each day, only to guests whose names are on the master list.  If your family will be driving to, and parking at Aulani, they will be charged $35 for valet, or self-parking costs $10 for the first hour and $5 for every half hour after that.  However, if they spend $35 or more at the restaurants or spa they will get complimentary valet parking or self-parking for up to 4 hours, so be sure to keep any receipts.

Deborah, I'm sorry I don't have better news about the swimming pools, and I hope that you will still be able to enjoy some fun, family time at Aulani.  If you are thinking about enjoying a meal with your family at one of Aulani's restaurants, be sure to make advance reservations!  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions you have before your trip.  Have a magical day!
