Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family is coming in July and have one day that we are staying at our hotel to enjoy the amenities (Old Key West). Since we don't have park tickets for that day, how does the meal plan work? We have the Deluxe package. Thanks!

- Hi Jennifer,
A day at Disney's Old Key West Resort to enjoy the amenities sounds wonderful. At Disney's Old Key West Resort, my family enjoys a dip in the pool with a glide down the waterslide through a giant sandcastle. We also enjoy borrowing equipment from Hank's Rent 'N Return and partaking in recreation such as table tennis. We grab a drink from the nearby Gurgling Suitcase and our afternoon is complete!
The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan has so many options for dining, both inside the Disney theme parks and all over Walt Disney World, including locations at resorts and Downtown Disney. Your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan credits will be linked to your Resort ID, which will be either your MagicBand or your Key to the World Card. You do not need to have theme park tickets on a particular day to enjoy your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. A list of the participating restaurants in any of the Disney Dining Plans can be found at the Disney Dining Plan website. Once you are on the site, click on the brochure for your dining plan on the right.
I do have a few suggestions for using your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan on the day that you plan to stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort. Be sure to visit Olivia's Cafe for a meal. This restaurant serves wonderful food inspired by the Florida Keys, and I think that it is a hidden gem at Walt Disney World. Also, consider heading to Downtown Disney for a meal. You can take a relaxing boat ride from Disney's Old Key West to Downtown Disney and enjoy a meal there.
Have a wonderful time planning your vacation Jennifer, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
