Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi everyone I'm in the process of planning our first WDW vaca I'm so exicited but I feel overwhelmed. We are looking at staying at the port Orleans riverside in the royal room I have two girls age 7 and 5. Any tips would be great! When will magic bands be

  • Hi, Leeann!  My biggest tip is to make sure you plan in advance for anything that is a must do for your trip.  I cannot tell you how many people I talk to that are disappointed because they waited until the last minute to book a character meal or special ticketed event, such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and they are sold out.  You can book dining reservations 180 days in advance, and you'll want to make sure that if you have a must do dining experience, you book it then.

Magic Bands are still being tested, but if by the time of your vacation you can get them, you'll be able to customize them up until about a month before your vacation.  FastPass+ selections are currently able to be made 60 days or so in advance of your trip.  Again, I recommend making those reservations that you know are must do things on your list.

I love Port Orleans!  Take a little bit of time to check out the resort with a nice walk.  The theme of the resort is so perfectly carried out!  You'll also want to save some time to hit the pool.  It's so much fun!

Have an absolutely wonderful vacation, and if you need help planning, just come on back and let us help!
