  • My husband and I have recently come under financial strain and need to cancel our vacation. It is still 5 months away. Is there a way to do this online? Will we receive what we've paid towards our trip back as a refund?

    Thanks for writing.  I'm sorry that you'll need to postpone your Walt Disney World vacation.  However, rest assured, Walt Disney World is continually evolving, and each year, there are more wonderful sights, attractions and special events to enjoy and explore.  Whenever you chose to go, you will have an incredible time.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it's sooner than later!  If you booked your trip directly through Walt Disney World, I would recommend calling the reservation line, with you confirmation number, and you should have no problem receiving a full refund with so much time before your trip.  If you booked through an independent travel agent, I would call them directly and explain your situation.  In my experience, even with outside agencies, with so much lead time, you should be able to receive a refund.
