Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are coming to Disney in March on a tight budget-no dining plan. (Last time we had the dining plan and ate character meals) Are we allowed to bring sandwiches and snacks into the park (no cooler, just a backpack)?

  • You can definitely do Disney on a budget, Rebecca!  They do allow you to bring snacks and sandwiches into the theme parks, and it's a great way to save money.  I usually fill my backpack with juice boxes, bottled water, raisins, nuts, granola bars, and things like that, or else my kids would have me go broke buying popcorn and Mickey ice cream bars at every stand!

Keep in mind when you pack your snacks that even on a cool day, the Central Florida sunshine can be hot!  Don't pack anything that is perishable, like luncheon meats or tuna fish; and do avoid things coated in chocolate or even yogurt, as they melt.

Have a great time on your upcoming vacation!
