  • Hi Jessica,

Since your daughter has been to Walt Disney World before and you want to make the trip extra special, let me give you some ideas for a child who is a Walt Disney World "veteran."

For no additional cost over your theme park admission, you could declare one day to be her day!  She could be in charge of choosing all attractions, meals, and activities for the day.  This of course requires the rest of the family being okay with following her direction, but it is amazing how something as simple as being able to choose the agenda for the day can be really special for a little one.  If you are worried that she will pick something in the middle of the day that you wish you had done earlier, sit down before you go and talk with her about what she wants to do on "her day."

Another idea is to take her to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or the Pirates League and have her transformed into a princess or an empress.  Many little girls love becoming a princess for a day at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and love hearing cast members call them "princess" for the day.  Recently, my daughter visited the Pirates League and became an empress.  It was a really fun experience, and for the rest of the day, she got some special attention.  During a parade, Peter Pan and Wendy came over and asked if she was going to make them walk the plank!  Of course, no special attention is guaranteed, but it is fun for many little ones to transform into someone else for a day.

Finally, consider working with Disney Floral and Gifts to customize a gift for your daughter.  The Dream Makers there can customize a gift for any occasion.  Once you peruse their website, I suggest that you call them at 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438) to speak with a Dream Maker to customize your gift.

I hope that this gives you some ideas for your trip, Jessica.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
