Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Is the accessible pass for the disabled for going on the rides still there or do we need to buy the magic band or the fast pass+?
  • - Asked by penny from Texas on 3/30/2014
  • Hi Penny:

Disney World updated their Guest Assistance Card and replaced it with the new Disability Access Service Card (DAS).  The change is less about who gets priority access and more about how priority access is administered.  You can request a DAS card at Guest Relations, which is separate from FastPass+.  Indeed, you can use the DAS card in addition to FastPass+, which may give you more options and speed things along.

With the DAS card, you will receive a return time for attractions based on their current wait time.  There isn't a strict return time frame (unlike with FastPass+), so if yo usee that the line is too long with you return to ride, head to another attraction and return later.

Check out these FAQs for more information on the DAS card.

    Enjoy your vacation.
