  • Dear Nervous Mommy,

You came to the right place! We MOMS stick together. I am happy to help you with your vacation. You already have some really fun plans. Here are some tips that I have learned over the years!

-You really do not need a rental car. You can use the complimentary Magical Express from the airport then use Disney transportation to get to the parks. However, if you choose to keep the car then still plan to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom. Parking is very far and the bus will be quicker. To other parks, Downtown Disney, or water parks, take your car.

-For Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 p.m. Use the early part of your day to play at the pool or go to Downtown Disney, then start the Halloween fun at 4:00 p.m. Don't forget your costumes!

    -Favorite Quick Service restaurants:
Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Puck Express, Earl of Sandwich
Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Rays
Epcot:  QS locations in France and Mexico
    Animal Kingdom:  Pizzafari, Flametree BBQ
Hollywood Studios:  Planet Pizza, ABC Commissary
-To get the most of your credits, use a snack for your breakfast (bagel, pastry, fruit) and use your credits for lunch or dinner.  We even pay out of pocket for 2 slices of bread (under $1) to make toast, use your Rapid Refill Mug for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and you have breakfast!

-Stay on your little Mouseketeer's schedule and plan plenty of down-time for him to relax in the room or splash in the pool. Even if he does not use a stroller any longer, you may want to bring one to WDW. Little legs get tired very fast, and there is a LOT of walking. This past Saturday, I logged 14 miles in Epcot on my pedometer - in ONE day!

Let me know if you have any other questions. I am happy to help transform you from Nervous Mommy to Magical Mommy! You will be great!
