Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We will be in Orlando in early March 2014, staying offsite. We want to visit Downtown Disney. Is parking still free there? Can you offer any tips about parking or arrival times? Thank you!

  • Hi Emily!

Yes, self parking at Downtown Disney is complementary.  If you are arriving for a reservation, I'd always suggest that you arrive about an hour or so before just to make sure you aren't late.  If your heading down for the day to shop 'till you drop, I'd get there in the morning, as spots are easier to find.  You'll wait a bit longer for a close spot as the day wears on, but don't worry, even on the busiest of days, you'll still be able to enjoy Downtown Disney.  Just check for the overflow parking area signs, and park.  A shuttle will bring your right to the action!

    Have a magical vacation!
