Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I will be traveling with a 2 yr old during March 2014 I am unsure as to what resort to stay, what meal option to choose for 2 adults and my picky 2 yr old (who will more than likely eat off one of our plates), and what parks to visit. HELP!

  • Hi!

The good news is that your two-year old won't need the Disney Dining Plan as children under the age of free eat for free. Your child can eat off of your plate and will even be allowed to get food from the buffet on the all-you-care-to-eat restaurants.

You probably only need the basic Disney Dining Plan as you can have one refillable resort mug per person, one quick service, one table service and one snack per person, per night of your stay. This allows you flexibility and plenty of options for meals.

I think that a two-year-old would love the new Art of Animation Resort because the pool is the biggest of all of the Walt Disney World Resorts, and you can even hear Nemo and Dory under water! Art of Animation also has great food selections for picky eaters and has bright, vibrant designs with kids' favorite characters.

I hope you have a magical visit!
