Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are heading to WDW in Feb 2014, we have booked the hotel, park tickets, and 3 Character meals. My kids are 3 and 6. What else can I or should I plan for our trip besides actually enjoying the rides at the parks? What am I missing?

  • Hi, Darrell!

You've booked the most important parts of your trip to Walt Disney World...great planning!

To learn more about your upcoming choices, take a look at this informative post about MyMagic+. There, you'll learn about FastPass+, MagicBands and Cards and more. Next, read about My Disney Experience, which will help you plan and keep track of those plans so easily.  If you have a smartphone, add the My Disney Experience mobile app which will enable you to see not only those reservations you've made, but also useful information such as park hours, attraction wait times, character greeting times and locations and so much more.

If you are flying into Orlando International Airport and you've chosen to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, make your arrangements for the complimentary Disney's Magical Express. If you have chosen the Disney Dining Plan or wish to enjoy additional table service meals, make those Advanced Dining Reservations now, too.

Next, take a look at WDW Park Hours to be sure you're in the park that's best for you each day. For example, Magic Kingdom may open at 9:00 a.m. most mornings, but may have an Extra Magic Hour from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. one day during your stay...perfect for little early risers!

Happy planning, Darrell! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
