Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are Disney excited for THIS week. Is anyone in the area today to suggest the right attire to bring? I see it's low 70s this week but I would love to hear from someone there as to what I should REALLY pack?

  • Hey there Veronica!

How exciting you will be visiting Walt DIsney World this week! My family is enjoying the "Most Magical Place on Earth" this week as well!

Since our arrival on Friday, we have experienced various weather changes so we needed to pack for temperatures ranging from the low 50s to the low 80s. Just to give you a frame of reference, I am a Georgia resident and not particularly fond of really cold weather. The weather in Orlando today is in the low 70s, but very breezy and I would be comfortable in shorts and a short-sleeve top with a light jacket or sweater or jeans and a short-sleeve top. On our coldest day yesterday, I wore jeans and a long-sleeve tee and was very comfortable until the afternoon when I needed to put on a fleece jacket due to the temperature dropping into the upper 50s. I would definitely bring a jacket for the evenings when the temperature typically drops.  If you will be staying at a Walt DIsney World Resort, you may want to consider packing your swimsuits since the pools are heated year-round. Honestly, I think you will be comfortable during the day in shorts and short-sleeve tops, but may want to pack jeans/pants for any evenings in the park. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions that you may have in the days leading up to your trip. I hope you have a magical Walt DIsney World vacation, Veronica!

    Happy Packing,
