  • Hi, Jennifer!  We go every year during the holidays, so I'll give you my best tip - the early bird catches the Mouse.  We like to hit the theme parks as soon as they open - even if that means an early morning extra magic hours arrival.  I try to snag the FastPass that is most important to my girls for the day, and then we go to the attraction that is number one on their list.

I find that I can usually do a pretty good bit of the theme park by lunch - hitting the must do attractions first.  We have a nice lunch, and then see what else there is that is on their list of "really would like to do" attractions.  If you want to see the evening fireworks or later parades, do not leave the theme park.  I will often leave late in the afternoon, and catch the fireworks from somewhere else around the resort.

Night time extra magic hours always seem more crowded to me, so we tend not to do those.  Plus, if I'm waking kids early, it's not the best idea to keep them out late as well.

The list of attraction priorities is pretty important.  I don't want the kids to be disappointed, so if they each choose at least one or two things that we have to see, I know if there's a really long line for something later, and we're too tired to wait, at least they've gotten to do the things they really wanted to.

Planned meals definitely helps!  If you have character meals, that also saves wait time in line for autographs.

    Have an absolutely wonderful time!
