Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I have a family of 5 to include a 2-year-old. II thought that my 2-year-old didn't count as a person and I could still book 4-person rooms; however, online it is not letting me do so. Specifically, I wanted to book the Little Mermaid room. Is this right?

- Hi, Kristen!
The standard rooms in The Little Mermaid section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort sleep up to 4, so this room type would not be suitable for your family's needs. There is no extra space for a pack 'n' play in these rooms. If you're set on staying at Art of Animation, I highly recommend one of the Family Suites, nicely themed to The Lion King, Cars or Finding Nemo films. The suites sleep up to 6 with one queen bed, one double-size fold-down table bed and one double-size sleeper sofa. The great thing about the suites is they offer a separate master bedroom, a kitchenette and two bathrooms.
Other options you may want to explore for a party of 5 are Disney's All-Star Music Resort Family Suites (Value category), Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (Moderate category) and select room types at Disney's Deluxe Resorts. Additionally, the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort accommodate up to 6 Guests.
