Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi, I am visting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with my three year old daughter to celebrate her adoption. Can you recommend any options for my 10 and 12 year old boys?

  • Hi Lissa,

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a blast for young girls. A comparable activity for boys would be the Pirates League, where kids are made up as pirates and learn some pirate language and behaviors. This is loads of fun, but depending on his personality, your 12 year old might find it a bit young.

Most older boys like special experiences that are more active. Some good choices might be the horseback riding experience at Fort Wilderness, boating or parasailing at the Contemporary, the Animal Kingdom's Wild Africa Trek, or viewing of a sporting event at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center. If your boys are more creative types, the might enjoy dining with an imagineer or seeing the Cirque du Soleil La Nouba show at Downtown Disney. These are all great ways to add something special to an older child's Disney vacation.

I'm happy to provide more information about any of these experiences. Just let me know what you need.
