  • Well, if it's heat you want to avoid, then I'd cross May, June, July, August, and September off your list right away. April and October can be fine temperature-wise, or you may find extreme heat then too. This past April (just a few weeks ago, Orlando experienced temperatures in the high 80s).

Now to the water parks question ... at least one of the water parks is always open. The issue is whether you'll actually want to visit them. In December, January, and February you may well be able to be comfortable at the water parks. Or it may be too cold. In recent years I've experienced everything from 40s to 80s during these months.

That leaves March and November. With either of these you're likely to find temperature that are warm enough for the water, but cool enough to avoid extreme humidity issues. Of these, I would definitely go with November. March at WDW is often very crowded, whereas early November (before Thanksgiving) is blissfully calm.

As far as "front of the line" passes go, Disney not have a for-purchase pass like some other theme parks do. Instead they have the great Fast Pass system which you can read all about here.

Hope you have a great trip.
