Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • My husband and I will be visiting Disney World for the first time with our two boys, 3 year old and 18 months. We are looking to visiting the parks for 3 days. What are the best parks, other than the Magic Kingdom, for their age group?

  • Yay!!  The Magic Kingdom is at the top of the list, and then Animal Kingdom followed closely by Hollywood Studios.  My kids remember their first visits to the Magic Kingdom, mostly the castle, and Dumbo's Elephant 'ride' as they would call it.  They loved the tea cups spinning around, giggling as daddy pretended to be sooooo dizzzzy....or the parade as the characters would march by us on the street.  My boys love Animal Kingdom, mostly because of the animals, the safari, the petting zoo area.  Hollywood Studios has Toy Story attraction, the playground where the plants are oversized, and the kids appear to have shrunk.  EPCOT not so much when the boys were that little, there are things to do.  Just wasn't as thrilling for my boys at that age.  The favorite water park was Blizzard Beach when they were smaller.
