Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- When Be Our Guest opened, the lunch line on some days was starting at park opening. Has the wait time for BOG gotten better? I would like to eat there but spending my morning in line is not an option & don't want to make dinner reservations. Thanks.

- Hi Maggie!
I just love eating at the new Be Our Guest Restaurant in New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom! I have eaten 8 lunches there since it opened! It has been almost a year since this amazing Magic Kingdom Restaurant opened and the wait time for lunch has gotten better (there still is a 30 to 45 minute wait during peak lunch times from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm). Typically, the Be Our Guest Restaurant opens for lunch at 10:30 am and closes for lunch at 2:30 pm (these times are subject to change and can vary during busier times of year but they are usually the normal times of operation for serving lunch). If you are going to the Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch, a typical wait time is around 30 to 45 minutes to get in and order your food, but once you order, find a table, and get your beverages, the food is usually at your table already. I ate lunch there in the second week of July and got there before 11:00 am and experienced no wait to get in. My best tip would be to take an early lunch so you can have a shorter wait time because the line and wait time builds nearer to the normal lunch time. One of the other benefits of eating lunch at the Be Our Guest Restaurant is that you typically get to pick the room that you want to eat lunch in and after lunch you can walk around to explore the other rooms too!
I hope that you get to eat lunch at the Be Our Guest Restaurant on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
