Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Keeping in mind that I am traveling with a 2 years old and an infant. What time should I plan to make dinner reservations and where do you recommend me to do so? Thanks!!!

  • Hi Maribel! What a magical vacation you're going to have with your two little ones!

One of the many reasons I love Walt Disney World is that all of the restaurants (except the adults-only Victoria & Albert's) welcome children.  I recommend that you choose restaurants that are in or near the park you're visiting each day or in your resort so you won't have to spend a lot of time traveling to your dining reservations. If you think your 2-year-old would enjoy meeting the characters, consider making a reservation at Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace on the day you're visiting the Magic Kingdom. Since the meals are buffets, you can dine quickly which is always a plus with little ones, and kids under age 3 eat free at the buffets. In Animal Kingdom, Tusker House offers a tasty buffet and the Rainforest Cafe is entertaining for young kids. In Epcot, my family loves the pizza at Via Napoli and watching the hibachi chefs at Teppan Edo. In Hollywood Studios, you would enjoy the 50s Prime Time Cafe or Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano.

I always found it best to try to keep my children on their normal schedule, especially since days touring the parks can be long and tiring. Schedule your dinners at the time your family usually eats at home.
