Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I was wondering if I need a reservation for Lunch at Be Our Guest restaurant. I know that for lunch it is quick service, but I have heard it gets very busy, and I would love to make it apart of our trip.

  • Hi, Nicole!

    Great question!

Be Our Guest Restaurant only accepts Advanced Dining Reservations for dinner, since it serves Quick Service lunch prior to that.

However, I have found that getting in line 1/2 hour before the restaurant opens for lunch assures me a spot well ahead of the masses who arrive a bit later. Check the restaurant lunch hours during your stay and plan to head to BOG 30 minutes before it opens. I used the My Disney Experience app to find out that today's lunch hours at BOG are from 10:30-2:30, so if you have a smart phone, that might be the best way for you remember when to get in line. :-)

If that won't work for your schedule, I've also noticed that the line to get into GOB for lunch lessens tremendously as the typical lunch hour passes. While walking past the line to get into BOG two weeks ago, for example, my son and I noticed a very long line at about noon; that line had completely vanished by 1:30.

In short, if you can plan your day around a early or a late lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, you might just have tucked a fantastic Quick Service meal into your itinerary with very little complication, Nicole.

    Good luck!

Send more questions as you think of them, too; I love to help!
