Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hello! We are heading to WDW Nov10-15-We are staying at Animation this year and wanted to see how long it would take from shuttle to each park. We want to make sure that we get to each park before opening. How much time do we need to allow each morning?

  • Hi Erin,

You are going to love the Art of Animation resort. I know I have said this  to other guests, but I will repeat myself: Disney's designers outdid themselves on all the themed details of this resort. My family is especially fond of the Cars area.

The last time we were there, I timed the bus ride from Art of Animation to Magic Kingdom and to Epcot. From the moment the bus started to roll until the door opened at Magic Kingdom, 18 minutes had passed. I timed the ride to Epcot at 13 minutes.

I can't be that precise about Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios (I forgot to time those), but my best estimate is that Animal Kingdom also is about 20 minutes away. Hollywood Studios is a little closer to the resort than Epcot, so it should take 10 to 15 minutes as well.

Buses normally leave the resort for each theme park at least every 20 minutes. To be sure you arrive in time for the welcome show at Magic Kingdom, I would plan to be at the bus stop about 45 minutes to an hour before opening time. You likely can get to the other parks at opening time by arriving at the bus 30 minutes or so in advance.

I hope that helps. Your visit is so close now. Enjoy!
