Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • My mother-in-law and sister-in-law want to go to Cirque du Soleil in January (Christmas present). Both of them have some health problems so we want to book them in accessible rooms close to Cirque (or an easy place to catch the shuttle). Suggestions?

  • Hi Suzan,

While Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is the closest Disney resort to Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney, you should feel comfortable booking an accessible room for your mother-in-law and sister-in-law at any Disney resort.  They all have free shuttles to Downtown Disney.  If they'd prefer traveling by boat instead of bus, consider reserving a room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort.  Whether they are staying at the French Quarter or Riverside portion of this nicely themed resort, all they need to do is take a pleasant boat ride up the Sassagoula River to Downtown Disney to reach their show.

Merry Christmas to you and your family from the Moms Panel!
