Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I'm travaling with a 8 & 5 yr old is there any reason I should choose the moderate resort over the value resort?other than the fridge.
  • - Asked by Malissa from Wisconsin on 12/25/2009
  • Hi Malissa!

The mini fridge is definitely one of the added perks at a moderate resort compared to a value resort. Some of the other  things to consider are room size and other added amenities at the moderates. The rooms are slightly larger at the moderate resorts than at the values and most offer double sinks in the bathroom area. Moderate resorts also offer a table service restaurant in addition to the food court and pool slides at the feature pools. Many of the moderates also offer recreational activities like carriage rides and sea raycers.

If you will be spending down time at your resort to relax in your room or play in the pool, these added amenities may be worth the added cost.

Have fun planning your upcoming vacation!
