  • Hello Jennifer,

Don't you love having something fabulous like a Disney vacation to look forward to?

Yes, there are many Special Events that take place at Disney World annually in the month of September. The dates are subject to change but as your vacation nears, you will be able to confirm the events on or on the Disney Parks Blog.

Night of Joy is a Christian music festival that takes place each fall in early September. Night of Joy features live gospel, rock, and pop concerts.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my favorite bash of the year. The Halloween event is held on select dates and usually starts mid-September.

And my second favorite time of year is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. And it begins at the end of the month. The festival serves up specialty foods, culinary events, and wine seminars.

Timed right, you may be able to hit one or all of these special events!
