Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I just saw that that the Fantasy Parade was added as a FastPass this recommended? I assumed like most parades, it's just as easy as lining up in the designated area? Is this parade different then the norm and a FastPass is suggested?

  • Hi Kimberly:

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending us your question.  You are very observant.  A FastPass+ Option for the newest parade Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is now available for guests pre-selecting their FastPasses in advance.  Deciding to use one of your FastPass+ Selections on any parade depends on a few things.  First of all, if you would like a great spot to see the parade, without a long wait, I would recommend using your FastPass+ selection.  There is a special viewing area for those with a FastPass+ with smaller crowds and a wonderful view.

If you don't mind waiting for a longer period of time in order to save your spot for the parade, or if you are ok watching the parade from behind a few guests, I wouldn't recommend using your FastPass+ on this option.  Guests will be lining Main Street U.S.A. as normal, so if you don't mind the usual crowds, simply line up just like every other parade.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will debut on March 9th, and this is the first time I have used a FastPass+ selection for a parade.  I would assume that the crowds will be quite large, making a FastPass+ selection a good option for a great view.

I hope you enjoy Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Kimberly.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
