Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I seem to remember the old town square theater showing vintage mickey movies during the day and that it was a nice place to slow down and cool down. Is this still the case? if not can you tell me what the town square theater is.

  • Hi Catherine,

There are no "theaters" or "cinemas" on Main Street USA like the one you probably remember. A store front called Main Street Cinema now sells Disney themed merchandise. If I remember correctly, there is still a screen that runs Disney cartoons, but there is no seating in the shopping area. Town Square Theater, located to your right as you enter the park, is a meet and greet area for Mickey Mouse. It's also a temporary location for meeting your favorite princesses until later this year when they have a permanent home in Fantasyland.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
