  • HI Nannette!

You've picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World! The parks and resorts are so beautifully decorated for the holidays that they always put me into the holiday spirit! I hope they do the same for you!

The Magic Kingdom is number one on my holiday must-do list! If you can, be sure to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The party is incredible: a special parade, holiday fireworks and it even snows on Main Street while Christmas carols play in the background. It's enough to make even the Grinch's heart grow three sizes!

Here are a few other not-to-be-missed holiday decoration highlights:
    • The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios is #1 on my must do list! These lights are incredible. I think this must be the most lights I've ever seen in a single place, at one time! And, just to top off the Magic, they even perform a light show in unison to the holiday music!
    • At the Grand Floridian, the life-size gingerbread house reminds me of an old-time Christmas! Be sure to grab a chocolate-dipped shingle for a snack!
    • Don't miss the other resorts too! The Wilderness Lodge is spectacularly decorated with a nearly 4-story Christmas tree that even contains teepees and antlers!
    • Visit the many different countries around World Showcase. They each have unique traditions that are fun to learn about. And, of course, a perfect end to any evening is a showing of Illuminations at Epcot which features a special holiday finale!

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful trip!
