Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I was planning to take advantage of EMH at the resorts going to two resorts in a day. Is this a common practice by most onsite visitors or would taking advantage of EMH both morning and night a good idea?

- If you have the stamina to do this, then go for it. I personally only have enough energy to burn the candle at one end.
I almost always visit more than one park a day. But not using the morning AND evening Extra Magic. The hours of Extra Magic time vary greatly depending on the season. But a typical day of touring, using both morning and evening Extra Magic time, would be at least 14 hours, possibly much more. I can't go all out in the parks for that long (and my kids really can't). There is an incredible amount of walking that happens at Disney that can really take a toll on the feet. (I'm a NYer and used to lots of walking, but there's something about WDW walking that's more taxing). And if you're there during the warmer months, you can't underestimate what park touring and 95 degree temperatures do to wear you out.
So, are you welcome to spend as much time as you possibly can in the parks. But if you go to the morning Extra Magic hours at one park, my guess is that by the time evening Extra Magic hours roll around, you're going to be much more ready for a cool beverage and a soak in the jacuzzi at your hotel than you would be for another three hours in the parks.
