Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are visiting the Magic Kingdom in mid February. Is it more convenient to park at Epcot instead of the TTC?
  • - Asked by Amy from Michigan on 2/15/2014
  • Hi Amy,

I do find the Epcot parking lot more convenient to navigate than the massive lots at the Transportation and Ticket Center, and the long ride from Epcot to the TTC on the monorail is always a treat. But, unless you plan to end your day at Epcot, I'd suggest that you go ahead and park closer to Magic Kingdom.

Either way, whether you arrive by monorail from Epcot or if you park at the TTC, you will need to use the Express Monorail or the ferry to get to Magic Kingdom.

Another thing to consider: Magic Kingdom often is open significantly later than Epcot, so if you stay late, you run the risk of not being able to get back to your car at the end of the evening because the Epcot monorail has ceased operations for the night.

I hope that clarifies things for you. Please let me know if I can help in any other way. Enjoy your Walt Disney World visit!
