Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi, it's been a while since we've had my disabled grandma see the Main Street Electrical Parade with us. Are there still areas roped off for those in wheelchairs/powerchairs and if so, do you know where they are located? Thanks.

  • Melissa,

How exciting to be just days away from your upcoming magical Walt Disney World vacation.

Main Street Electrical Parade has delighted thousands with it beautifully lighted floats and performers and your grandmother has three possible handicap parade viewing areas. These spots fill quickly so plan accordingly and your party may be asked to split up in order to accommodate others with handicap needs. These areas include Liberty Square, the hub at the end Main Street U.S.A. where the statue of  Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse greet Guests and in Town Square at the beginning of Main Street U.S.A.  If you click here, you will see a Guide for Guest with Disabilities pamphlet for Magic Kingdom and can easily locate the locations on the map.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World and say, "Hi!" to Mickey Mouse for me.
