Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are coming the first week if feb 2014 and have fantastic dinner reservations at brown derby. I hear there is a limited menu and seating on the side. If so, is it worth paying for the package as opposed to just getting a seat the "regular" way?

  • Hi Diana,

Fantasmic! Dining Package is a great way to have a guaranteed seat to one of the most popular shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This popular show can fill to capacity during the busy season.

As for dinner at the Brown Derby, this restaurant pays homage to its namesake in California and is home to the cobb salad and grapefruit cake. There are no restrictions on what you can order with your meal.

Seating at this event has been moved from the side where it was originally located to the center of the stadium. You enter this seating on Sunset Boulevard by Beauty and the Beast show. Seating is first come, first serve so be at the show 30 minutes prior to grab a seat.

If you want to enjoy other experiences in the park, this is a great way to hold your spot.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
