Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Do I need to bring ID my children if we are buying their tickets in advance? The older children need ID to fly, but the younger do not. What does Disney require?

- Disney does not require any specific identification for children. I have been to Walt Disney World dozens of times with my children since their babyhood - and my oldest is now 13. i have never needed to show ID for the kids at any point during my Disney travels. Once children are old enough for a driver's license or other state-issued ID, they should carry that with them as a matter of course, but otherwise Disney will take your word on their age.
The one exception to this is if you are redeeming a Give A Day, Get A Disney Day certificate. In this case, children do need to show a passport or birth certificate in order to be allowed free admission into the park.
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World!
