Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My parents are coming along on our WDW trip this June to help us out with our 3 kids. We would like to do something special to thank them, do you have any recommendations?

- Hi Melinda:
You are going to have such a wonderful time with your parents and children at Walt Disney World Resort. Not only will you benefit from all of their help with your children, you will make so many priceless memories together that your children will remember for a lifetime. In the past when my parents have come along with us to help, I have always tried to do something special for them as well. I have booked them surprise dining reservations at their favourite Signature Dining Location and had their preferred bottle of wine chilled and waiting for them upon their arrival. My dad is a big dessert lover, so I have also had a custom cake waiting at one of their dining experiences as well. Disney Gift Cards could also a good idea, but I did find that my mom would spend hers on my daughter, so that wasn't ideal.
I have also splurged and booked a night at the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa after a dinner reservation at Victoria and Albert's to say Thank You. That way they could enjoy their evening and wake up without a toddler jumping on their bed.
In all honesty after seeing my parents with my daughter at Walt Disney World Resort, I truly believe that spending time with their family is a gift in itself, so what I have started to do is every time my parents come with us, I will a photo book of our Walt Disney World Resort Vacation for them. This way they can look back at all of the wonderful moments they shared with us at Walt Disney World Resort whenever they want. The Disney PhotoPass website is a wonderful tool to build a photo book. I love the themed pages as well as the layouts and stickers.
I hope my suggestions help Melinda. Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
