Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We will be visiting DW in Feburary w/a six year old. Do you recommend an umbrella stroller for a child at this age or will she be fine walking?

  • Hi Lorrie!

I am so glad that you asked this question!  Although the weather will be nice and cool in February, your little princess may still need to rest her weary feet.  My six year old son spent about 90% of his time during our last trip walking, but didn't hesitate to hop in the stroller when it was offered to him!  If you are able to bring it, I would absolutely suggest bringing an umbrella stroller along.  If you would rather purchase one once you arrive, I've seen them on property for $40 and at the nearby Super Target for $18.  Trust me, you would rather be safe than sorry when it comes to comfort!!!  Have a magical trip!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
