Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I have a child's park hopper ticket from 1996 with 2 days left, when there was no expiration date. I am taking my 4 year old grandson in April. Will I be able to use the ticket for him, or am I stuck with a 2 day ticket that can't be used?

  • Hi Maryann,

I did have an older ticket which was purchased many years ago and it was before they had the "no expiration" offer to purchase.  When I arrived at Walt Disney World and asked if it was still good to use they responded by telling me: "We will continue to honor all tickets that were purchased prior to the announcement of the new pricing structure that began on January 2, 2005".  I didn't quite believe it until I arrived at the Magic Kingdom and tried to enter with it in hand.  Sure enough, it was looked at very carefully and in my circumstance, had a Cast Member come to help me....why, I don't know still to this day!  In the end, yes I was admitted with no problems.  I can honestly say that I was skeptical but surprised at the results, so go for should be fine!

    Best wishes,
