Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I am diligently planning a first time Disney World trip for my family. I've read about some really great queue lines that are not to be missed. We'll also be using FastPass, so which rides should we FastPass and which would we enjoy the wait?

  • Hi Suzanne!

This is a great question.  Sometimes I purposely skip getting a FastPass for certain attractions because I love the interactive queues.  My favorite is Dumbo.  If you have smaller kids, this is an excellent attraction to wait in the standby line for.   This is the most unique because the line queue is inside a circus tent that has a huge climbing structure inside including slides!  You will be given a pager and sent in to play until it's your turn to ride.  This is also a great way to take a break and cool off because the tent is air-conditioned.

Another great queue is Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  It's a beautiful queue and is interactive all throughout.  Read the writing on the walls for directions on how to play the game.

A fun one is the Haunted Mansion queue.  There are some pretty cool haunted things to look at and play with if you go through the graveyard.

Boring lines are becoming a thing of the past around Walt Disney World.  You will be pleasantly surprised that almost all of the attractions have fun sights to see.

    Have a magical day!
