Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are staying at the campgrounds on 2/9 and pop century on 2/16. We are staying off property in between. Disney is sending us 2 sets of magic bands. Will both sets of bands be linked to the pop century resort, tickets, fp+,and memory maker?

  • Hi there, William!

You must be getting so excited with your Walt Disney World vacation coming right up around the corner!

This is a great question and I'll see if I can help out a little. The MagicBands are still undergoing testing at this point so things are changing and developing all the time, sometimes daily. The way it was when I was visiting Walt Disney World a couple weeks ago, I could not successfully link a MagicBand for a previous Resort stay to an upcoming one. I did try with the assistance of a Cast Member, but it did not successfully link up in order to work as my room key.

You will be able to see both sets of MagicBands within your My Disney Experience account online and as long as you've linked them to you and each member of your family, you should be able schedule FastPass+ reservations. Your Park tickets and Memory Maker should stay intact even after you check out of The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

I sure hope this information helps. It's very important to remember that MyMagic+ is still testing, so it's best to double-check with Cast Members along the way during your visit as well. You just never know what updates could go into effect while you're there!

Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
