Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I'm trying to find something for my 8year old and me to do when my husband and boys go to a baseball game. Can you give me some ideas. We will be there at the end of march. It will be the day we arrive.

  • Hi Deborah,

I assume that your 8 year old is a girl. If so, the classic thing to do would be to visit the Bobbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where she could have a princess makeover. There are two locations, in the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. If you don't want to use a park admission, then the Downtown Disney branch is your best bet. You could also take her for a real spa treatment at the Saratoga Spring resort spa. And of course the shopping at Downtown Disney is fantastic.

Another nice option would be mini golf, or a trip to a water park. If you want to take it easy, you could just hang out at the pool at your hotel.

Please write back and tell us more about your child. We'll be happy to come up with more ideas based on her specific personalty and interests.
