Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Flying in on 1/8 6pm. Husband has to pick up his race packet by 8pm for marathon on 1/9. Is there enough time to take bus from airport to Caribbean Beach and then another bus to WWSports by 8pm? Or would the magical express take us straight to WWSports?

- Hi Debra,
I really don't think you will have enough time to catch the Magical Express (ME) to your resort and then take another bus to the Wide World of Sport. I normally recommend guests allow 2 hours from when their flight arrives to actually arriving at their resort when using ME as, although the journey isn't long, it takes quite a while to walk through the airport to the ME desk, you often need to wait for other guests to board before setting off and the bus can stop at several different resorts before reaching your own resort. Once at your resort the buses to Wide World of Sport (WWS) will run approximately every 20 minutes so even if you get to your resort with time to spare there is no guarantee you'd make it using the free bus. The ME only takes guests to WDW resorts so unfortunately won't be able to drop you at WWS.
What I would recommend you do is either you both catch a cab directly from the airport to the WWS so you'll have plenty of time to pick up the marathon packet before getting another cab to your resort. Or, if you don't mind splitting up, get your husband to catch a cab to the WWS whilst you use the ME to your resort. This way you can still use the ME luggage service and can check in at the resort whilst your husband can take the bus back to your resort from WWS so saving on the second cab fare as he won't have any luggage.
I hope that helps and good luck to your husband in the marathon,
