- We are planning a land and sea stay at disney and will be bringing our 2 1/2 year old son, I know at disney world he doesnt need a dining plan but on the cruise how does it work? Do they have meals geared towards that age?

- Hi Mathew,
Thanks for sending me your question! What a great vacation plan; A land and sea stay is definitely the best of both Disney Worlds! My family and I are planning the same vacation for this summer.
After conferring with my fellow Disney Moms Anna, Nancy and Marci, I can tell you that while cruising, your 2 1/2 year old son will not need a dining plan, as all meals are included (except for specialty dining options for adults such as Palo). All meals Table Service and Buffet will offer kid friendly selections. During dinner, there will also be a chef's selection of the day, however, your son does not have to choose this option, he will be free to choose anything off the menu. Also, unlike at Walt Disney World, children are free to order off of the adult menu if they choose. This option is good for more adventurous eaters, and older children who would like a little more choice in their dining options.
I hope that answers your question Mathew. Please let me know if you have any other questions during your planning. I would be happy to help!
