Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • HI! We are taking our very first Disney Cruise. We will be traveling with hour 3 year old and will be taking the cruise and then staying 3 days in Disney after the cruise. Do you recommend bringing an umbrella stroller for offship activities at port?

  • Hi, Ashley! Congratulations on choosing Disney Cruise Line for your very first cruise! But be aware, you may become a tad bit spoiled and never take another cruise aboard a different cruise line. It's that addictive!

When we took our three-year-old (at the time) for his first cruise, we wished we had brought his umbrella stroller -- not only for the shore excursions but getting around the ship, too. His little legs sometimes grew tired of trying to keep up with us, and a lightweight stroller (easy to fold) would have been a welcomed aid for helping him stay with the rest of the family. Plus, it'll be nice to have when you're at Walt Disney World, too.

I hope this has helped you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
