Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Planning trip to DL in Aug. Budgeting for dining and wondering if tax is added to the price of the meals. For instance, Ariel's Grotto says $36.99 for adults. Will they add a 15% service charge to that and then tax on top? How much will my total end up?

  • Greetings from sunny southern California. Today is a perfect day to be at the Disneyland Resort. My family celebrated both my daughters birthdays at Ariel's Grotto. It was such a magnificent experience. So many princesses came to the table to talk to my girls. We met Snow White, Mulan, Belle and Ariel, just to name a few. They were all so wonderful to my little girls. Watching their eyes light up made it all worthwhile. As a native of California, I can assure you my state will be taxing you at the current rate of 7.25% in addition to any and all included gratuities. I would suggest to you that this really is a unique experience that you and the family will truly remember and enjoy. Creating great memories like the ones I have with my family at Ariel's Grotto for their birthdays makes it all worth it as a parent. I just know you will have a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth.
