Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • How early should you arrive at DCA in order to get a FASTPASS for RSR and WOC? (Not staying on site so don't have the extra magic hour)
  • - Asked by Ashleigh from Victoria on 9/17/2013
  • Hi, Ashleigh!

Your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you know it! I hope your family is excited for all of the magic that awaits you.

You’re going to love Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park! Radiator Springs Racers is very popular and can have a long stand-by queue at certain times of the day. Luckily, this attraction offers Disney’s FASTPASS Service. The best plan is to obtain a FASTPASS for the attraction immediately after the park opens, so you may want to arrive at least 15 minutes before the official park opening time. The FASTPASS line for Radiator Springs Racers currently forms outside Carthay Circle Restaurant.  Be sure that getting a FASTPASS is your first priority, because they have been known to run out within 60 minutes of park opening. Although Disney California Adventure Park offers an Extra Magic Hour on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, FASTPASS distribution doesn’t begin until the regular park opening time.

You are able to get a FASTPASS for World of Color (distributed near Grizzly River Run in Disney California Adventure Park) and still pick up a FASTPASS for another attraction immediately before or after. The World of Color FASTPASS won’t prevent you from obtaining others throughout the day.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation,Ashleigh!

    Wishing you magic,
