How exciting that you are visiting Walt Disney World for the second time this Christmas, Jacqueline! As a mom of four children which includes a set of twin boys, I can honestly say that my family loves both traveling to Walt Disney World and cruising on Disney Cruise Line. My twins were three years old when they sailed on their first Disney Cruise Ship, Disney Wonder, and it was a great experience! Because of Disney's Castaway Cay and the pools on the Disney Cruise ships, I enrolled my twins in swimming lessons prior to the cruise. I would recommend enrolling your "little ones" in swimming lessons to see if it helps alleviate their fear of water. I have found firsthand with all of my children that a year can make a huge difference when it comes to overcoming fears of water and learning to swim. With that being said, there are so many activities on both the ships and at the Walt Disney World Resort that don't involve water. On the cruise ships, there are fantastic live shows that my children absolutely love, Character Experiences, Deck Parties, and Children's Activity Centers. My twins primarily played together in Disney's Oceaneer Club (Children's Activity Center) on their first cruise. There is a sandy play spot on Disney's Castaway Cay called Scuttle's Cove where my twins enjoyed organized activities, Monstro's Point - a giant whale-bone excavation site, plus more. We have now taken three DIsney Cruises and many, many Walt Disney World Vacations. To be perfectly honest, they are both magical in their own special way! We usually visit Walt Disney World at least once a year and have traditionally scheduled our Disney Cruises every 2-3 years. I am out of room for my answer, but please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical December Trip, Jacqueline!
    Happy Planning,
