We have a 1yr old & 8yr old. With the rides that our 1yr old can't go on, can my husband & I take turns going on the ride with our 8yr old without waiting on line 2x. Are we able to stand on line together with the baby?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Daisy! You must be so excited that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few weeks away. I saw your questions, and I've got a few tips for how to get the most out of your time when you're choosing what to do with your family.

There are lots of attractions that you can enjoy together as a family like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at Magic Kingdom Park or Frozen Ever After at Epcot. Before you enter the queue for these attractions, you'll need to park your stroller in a nearby designated area so you can hold your baby while you're waiting. When you want to enjoy some attractions that the baby isn't tall enough to ride, you can take advantage of the Rider Switch Service offered at select attractions at all four of the theme parks. For example, if you wanted to ride Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios you'd take your whole family to the attraction podium and let the Cast Member know that you'd like to use Rider Switch. Your husband and your older Mouseketeer can then wait in the queue and ride while you're given a Rider Switch entitlement so you can wait with your baby. When they're finished, you can then give the baby to your husband and enter the attraction through the FastPass+ entrance. Since the Rider Switch entitlement is good for up to three guests, your older child has the chance to ride twice if they want to!

    Have a magical day, Daisy!
