Hi! 3 yr old and 1 yr old petrified of the sound of fireworks yet love watching them silently on tv. where is best view within parks where bang noise is lowest? Thanks so much!

    Hi Kerri!

I don't think there is such a place in the Magic Kingdom.  However, you can watch the fireworks from the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian and that should work, though my youngest was still scared by the fireworks even when on the beach at the Polynesian when he was 4 years old!  I think the Polynesian has a better view than the Grand Floridian, even though the Grand Floridian is closer, because from the Polynesian you are basically looking at the fireworks straight on.  Another great spot is from the California Grill restaurant on top of the Contemporary Resort.  They pipe the music into the restaurant and you can watch from inside or go out on their private balcony.

In Epcot, you could watch from the Future World section of the park, though the problem with Epcot is the fireworks are not launched that high into the air.  Thus they will be hard to see if you are not fairly close to World Showcase Lagoon.  One option to cut down on the noise is to watch from inside the La Hacienda de San Angel restaurant in the Mexican Pavilion of Epcot.  It's located right on the water and has huge windows providing a good view of Illuminations; since you can watch from inside, the noise should be a little less intense.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
