I have 6 & 7 yr old sons. They enjoy sports and swimming. I am confused about all aspects of Disney. I am thinking the All Sports resort....meal plan, park passes, another resort? On a budget but don't want to stress about anything.

Hi Nikia and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

First of all, by planning ahead, let me reassure you that there is no need for you to stress about anything. You're planning a wonderful trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and your boys are going to have a blast!

My son who is now 13 years-old (although has visited Walt Disney World many times, since the age of 6), is also a huge sports fan, so I know exactly where you are coming from.

My family have stayed at many of the Value, Moderate & Deluxe Resort hotels over the years and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort remains one of my son's favourites, simply due to the theming and general feel of the Resort. As this is a Value Resort it means that the boys will be happy and you will be able to stay in budget.

I, personally, would recommend booking a vacation package which includes a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, Theme Park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan to make everything as easy as possible. Be sure to take a look at the Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website to see if any of the current offers are available during the proposed dates of your visit.

As your boys both enjoy swimming, I would also consider adding the Water Parks Fun & More option to your Theme Park Tickets - my son loves nothing more than spending time at the Disney Water Parks.

Please feel free to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel should we be able to assist you further with the planning of your stay.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
