I have a 12 yr old son who loves to camp/hunt was wondering if you had any ideas on what would be the best places to eat and explore resorts or pks My girl will turn 5 when we are down and I have every princess event for her wanted something spec for him

    Hi, Amanda!

Let's find something fun for your adventurous 12 year old son!  Now Chip and Dale are fond of our wilderness friends so I cannot help you with hunting, but I can definitely lead you to some fun outdoor activities!

I think you will find so much to do at Fort Wilderness. I do not know if you have your lodging booked yet for your trip, but you can stay at Fort Wilderness in a rented cabin or even pitch a tent!  If you already have your resort booked, you can still head to Fort Wilderness to enjoy their activities.  The list of recreational activities never ends with canoe rentals, archery, horse back riding, and more!  You can even stay into the evening and enjoy a campfire and a movie under the stars.  (Your only restriction at  Fort Wilderness will be the use of their pools unless you are a guest there.)

    Some dining ideas:
-Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue - Fort Wilderness
-Trail's End buffet - Fort Wilderness
-Whispering Canyon Cafe - Wilderness Lodge

I hope I gave you some ideas to start with!  Look through the website at Fort Wilderness and see what you think. If you need more information on anything, just drop me a note!  Have fun planning a vacation of adventure for your son!
