My 3-yr old son w/ autism is *very* fixated on his baseball cap. We had a bad experience at another theme park in NY because they always made him take off his cap, even on tame rides like a carousel. Can he wear his cap on the Disney kiddie rides?

    Hakuna Matata!

You should have no worries about your son's need for his cap while visiting Walt Disney World. While there in June, my family wore hats to keep the sun off of our faces. We were never asked to remove our hats prior to going on a ride.

The only exception would be on a roller coaster such as Expedition Everest.

On kiddie rides such as Dumbo, your son will not be asked to remove his hat. In fact, one of the top souvenirs at Walt Disney World is a Mickey Ears hat. You'll see all kinds of hats while at WDW!

Also, WDW is very accommodating with special needs. If you should have a concern, visit Guest Services.
