    Alfredo from FL Asked

can a 1yr old ride on all the rides in epcot

    Hi Alfredo!

Considering that a typical 1 year old does not meet all the height requirements, the answer is no. However, this is true for all of the parks, and what is more important is that a little one will actually be able to experience most of the attractions at all the parks.

At Epcot for example, rides that have a height requirement include Soarin', Test Track, and Mission Space.

My little ones really like Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Turtle talk with Crush, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Gran Fiesta Tour, and even Maelstrom!

If you have members of your party that will be enjoying those rides with height requirements, remember to get a rider switch ticket to swap places without having to wait in line in stand by twice!

Also, Mission Space has an indoor play area where the ride exists. It's a great place to let the little one roam while some members of the group ride. When some of my family goes on Soarin', I either let the little ones make friends in the attraction exit area, or most times I bring them onto the Living with the Land attraction right beside it.

Hopefully you enjoy Epcot with your little one as much as I do. There are so many things that might at first glance be over looked, that through the eyes of a child can be re-discovered! The fountains for example, are a real treat. Some dance, some leap, and some have water falls that flow up, rather than down. At night, there are lights in the walkways that capture their attention. And the performances throughout the countries in World Showcase are also likely to capture their attention, too!

     Have a magical vacation!
